Description

The U-PROX Mobile ID is a digital access card that allows you to open doors, for example, just by turning on the screen or pressing a button—even if your smartphone currently has no internet connection. It works exclusively with U-PROX card readers.

Doors can be opened using either Bluetooth or NFC technology.

For opening doors via Bluetooth:
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is a wireless technology developed as an energy-efficient data transmission protocol. U-PROX IDs and readers support BLE, allowing doors to be opened both at close range and from up to 25 meters away. The data transmission is secure and encrypted.

For opening doors via NFC:
U-PROX IDs and readers support NFC technology, allowing doors to be opened securely at close range. NFC establishes a contactless connection between the smartphone and the card reader using radio communication at approximately 2–3 cm distance. This technology is specifically designed for secure authentication and payment operations.
